Born in Nanegalito, a few kilometers from the current Alambi reserve, Fabián Luna is the creator of the Alambi project. After having worked in ecotourism for several years, the idea of creating an ideal place for bird watching and conservation was born, in the Andean Choco ecosystem, in the Tandayapa Valley. Acquired the house of a ship captain in 2004 with the goal of making this place of paradise a corner of nature for conservation.
His son, Johan Luna, graduated in tourism, joined his father to develop a complete offer in the Alambi project.
Today, the project is made up of a primary forest reserve in 90%, a hummingbird garden and a guest house. With an area of more than 120 hectares, located between 1450 and 2200 meters above sea level, it is a place of high interest for nature ecotourism.

The Alambi reserve
